
Grace Ko M.Ed
Grace is a Ph.D. student studying Learning Technologies at the University of Texas at Austin. She has been a high school English teacher in Korea for the past seven years and has participated in multiple projects that involve technology integration in learning. She has worked as a research teacher at the Seoul Future School and developed mobile application WikiTalki to facilitate language learning in public schools. In each of these roles, she has witnessed the transformative power of technology integration in learning. She believes that when technology is embedded in teaching and learning with appropriate pedagogy, it can empower students to be the pioneers of their own learning.
Kai Osorio M. Ed
Kai has worked as a special education teacher in New York City, working specifically with students with disabilities in the most restrictive environments. During his time in New York City, he worked with community programs and district program operators to being the most inclusive programs possible into the classroom for his students. He moved to California to work as an Education Specialist in the Bay Area while completing his Doctorate in Education at the University of San Francisco. Kai has also worked for the San Francisco Unified School District in the Policy and Operations department, creating more equitable environments for students throughout the district and currently works for UC Berkeley as a curriculum developer.
